Two in One Cutter
Purple Cows Incorporated

Review by Marcee Duggar

As a digital Scrapbooker I print my layouts at home on my Inkjet printer then trim and place them in my albums.
As most people I started with scissors trimming my layouts but they were never even or straight. I then purchased
a small trimmer at my local LSS. It would cut straight but I could never keep the paper still enough to get a precise
cut. So most of my layouts have jagged or uneven lines in my albums.

I have been looking for a paper cutter that would cut my layouts precisely as I needed that didn't cost me too much money.
I had seen the Purple Cows 2 in 1 cutter at a recent trade show and was very excited by its capablities and I knew that it was
the tool I had been searching for.

Features:

* A 12" guillotine cutter with safety blade and cutting guide that cuts up to 10 sheets
* A 12" rotary trimmer that cuts up to 10 sheets
* Alignment grid and paper guide for perfect cuts every time!
* Carry handle and blade lock for safe and easy transport and storage

For cutting my layouts I used the Rotary Trimmer, using the guidlines I was able to measure exactly where my cut should be.
The trimmer has a lock down clip that will actullay hold your paper in place securly while you push and slide the trimmer along
your paper, making for a straight, even and percise cut every time. I wanted to test how strong the clip was in securing my paper, so
I put in a blank piece of paper and locked it into place. I was actually able to pick up the cutter with the piece of paper and it
did not move impressive!!

The guillotine cutter is great for cutting lots of paper quickly and it has no sharp edges!! It safe and easy enough for a child to
operate my 5 year old loves it!!

If you are looking for a great multi purpose paper cutter for trimming your digital layouts or photos or any craft project
I would recommend the 2 in 1 cutter. It is reasonably priced for $53.95 and can be purchased online at www.purplecows.net.
