Meryl lives in Cowies Hill (near Durban) in beautiful KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. After leaving school she studied Home Economics, which she taught for seven years. She has been married to Ray, her best friend & own in-house IT consultant for nearly 30 years. They have two daughters - Raewyn (24) who is living at present in Dublin, and Kate (28) who married to Marc, and Mum to their first grandchild, Josh who is now one!

Sitting with a pile of wedding photos & doing a search on the internet on "Scrapbooking" led her to the discovery of Computer Scrapbooking in late 2002 and very quickly became addicted. She uses Photoshop CS (a Christmas gift from Ray) which she is totally in love with! As she works from home (in a direct selling company), with no boss watching, , it is a constant battle of wills not to just scrap all day! Her scrapping style changes with her mood - sometimes its very digital, sometimes paper style. She has won several contests & is due to be published in My Reflections and Threads & Crafts.

She and Ray are very enthusiastic caravanners - at least once a month they may be seen setting off with their comfortable little house on wheels behind them. She is the editor of the club magazine - The Flysheet, which is gradually filling with more & more photos & layouts. They also enjoy holidaying in the wild, every year making use of the timeshare at beautiful Sobhengu on the shores of Lake St.Lucia, a World Heritage Site.

Apart from scrapbooking & photography her hobbies are cooking & sewing, both of which are having less & less time spent on them....

Digital Dates - Grungy
[5 of 5 Stars]

"How did I ever manage before I had these?! These date stamps work with any layout, and are so versatile. They can be simply stamped on or change the look with embossed or punched dates, however you use them they will enhance any layout! You even get some tags to use with them too, and the most awesome grocery tag!"

Granny's Linen Page Kit
[5 of 5 Stars]

"Granny's Linen is one of my favorite Page Kits. The papers are more like finely textured fabrics. You can almost feel the weave in the ticking paper, and the neutral colors coordinate beautifully with so many photos, both heritage and modern. The kit is also versatile enough to use with many other kits and elements as well. What a wonderful basic to your scrapping collection! It is a definite "must-have" in my opinion!"

Feminine Denim
[5 of 5 Stars]

"This kit is absolutely wonderful and so versitle. This blue kit works well for boys and yet has quite a beautiful and feminine touch to it. I will be using this kit over and over again."

Blossoms For Formby Page Kit Two
[5 of 5 Stars]

"This kit (and the coordinating Blossoms for Formby) deserve so much more than 5 stars. Both kits are breathtaking and so easy to work with that the layouts practically scrap themselves! The linen backgrounds are elegant and classic allowing you to work anything from heritage to present day photos and the elements are creative and fun. All I can is great job, Meryl, and more more more, please! :)"

Rub A Dub Dub I'm in the Tub (Classic) Page Kit
[5 of 5 Stars]

"What a great kit! I loved the fact that there is a front and back to the bath tub so you just had to put your subject inbetween the two layers and they were "in" the tub! :) The bubbles are very realistic looking and I just wanted to cover my page with them - but I refrained! LOL Get this kit - you too will love it! :)"
